Woertz Flat Cable Systems offer a rational solution for pluggable, pre-wired and extendable power plus control cabling system and is the only of its kind available here in Greater China.

Wiring being not only easy and flexible, but also well-structured and non-layered to enhance cost-effectiveness and maintenance efficiency. The unique insulation-piercing feature enables loads be connected at any point and cables be un-stripped of insulation. The system is well adopted in Europe and best suited to quick and modular applications in offices, shopping centres, exhibition venues and interior design-conscious locations.

Woertz has also characterized the flat cable systems for building automation by introducing the bus part, the data section which receives control commands compatible with EIB, LON, Twiline, Luxmate and Batibus technologies.

System Overview

- To make faster, better, more reliable and especially more flexible installations possible

- Mastering the insulation piercing connection technology to ensure absolute precision, especially when positioning the lead in the sheath, and exceeding IEC 998-1-2

- Data section compatible with common building management system platforms such as EIB and LON, and meeting the necessary EMC resistance, the two bus wires are protected with twin shielding

- Enormous reduction in the number of cable used and hence in the fire load, and thus lowering of costs

- Significant decrease in the number of faults during installation due to prefabrication

- Considerable saving of time during the planning stage, the initial installation, the final phase of construction and the commissioning stage

- Connections can be made at any point on the cable, without the insulation having to be stripped, and may be moved or removed at any time; additional devices can easily be installed without the installation having to be shut down

- Halogen free series as well as Wieland GST18 plug-in system available

- Flat cable systems can be laid in cavities with sufficient clearance, like under-window ducts, floor ducts, raised floors, cable ducts, shafts, false ceilings

Building Management System Application
